It continues...
What an amazing addition to an amazing series. McNeill pulls no punches in this book, with loken, qruze, ezekyle and a host of other fairies returning to life. I devoured every page with vigour, to see where this author without equal would take us on this epic journey. From terra, to the far reached planet of molech...what secrets did it it hold, and why was it so important to the war master...read the book and find out for yourself
Here's to the next instalment. I wait with baited breath
Very good
Great read
Epic return to form
Now that Dan Abnett has jumped the shark on the Heresy series and is writing extended torchwood episodes full of plot holes, the premiere writer for the series is Graham McNeill and he doesn't disappoint. This is easily the best book since the opening trilogy and combines epic war, human emotion, great chunks of background, hefty plot and still manages to be well written despite being full to bursting with ideas and returning threads. I sincerely hope Graham writes the final battle for the Heresy series as he will do it justice based on this one. The only slight downpoint is that several threads are picked up from audiobooks that aren't part of the normal novel series and you miss some big clues and intros - I'm not a fan of audio plays so I'd advise checking out the plots of the Garro audio dramas online if you've missed them out of sequence.
