Awful
San Marcos' Square? Which city are we in? Well, according to this we are in Venice 'located in Veneto, north of Italy'. How far north, I wonder?
At first I thought it was just bad translation into English which was the problem with this book, but film of the Giudecca canal titled 'Grande Canal' makes me believe that the flaws are more fundamental. Pretty pictures, but don't place any reliance on the text.
