Villaforada

Villaforada, Navarra, Spain, July 1936. Five men are brutally murdered for their beliefs. Their bodies are buried in a ditch.

70 years later a young woman drives into the village. She and her friends intend to dig out the bodies and unearth the truth about their killings.

Matters are complicated when a local political boss, closely linked to the fascist groups who committed the murders, begins to take an interest in her activities.


In Spain, in 2012, ordinary people are still having to do extraordinary things just to recover their dead.
