Great story, bit long winded at times, really let down by a terrible ending. If I had known it was so short and abrupt, I may not have bothered to start it!.

Slow but satisfying

This book is worth reading, but you need to be patient with it. C.B is too wordy in places and the excessive French is hard work at times. However, the characters are well formed and the plot interesting. I was sad at the end for its lack of detail.
