Walking With the Spirit

Leola Durant, a native of Barbados, has made Canada her home since December of 1970. Diagnosed with lupus in her early forties, her illness proved to be a life changing event that reintroduced her to a God of infinite love. Her experiences over the past few years removed her from the hurried, fast-paced life she once lived and brought her to a place where God could speak to her heart and where she would finally have the time to listen. And in listening, she discovered a love for God she had never known before. Now, it is her greatest joy to listen and to seek to know Him better with each passing day.



The poetry contained in this book is a gift from God – reflections and impressions collected along her spiritual walk over the past few years. They are an encouragement to her and a means by which she believes God will use her to minister to the spiritual needs of others. It is her hope that these poems will encourage and bring peace of mind to those who are seeking a closer walk with God.
