Publisher Description
One slave. One ship. One chance for freedom.
To the Empire, the ship was just another derelict booby-trapped wreck. To Jess, a young slave, it was a death sentence. But the ship had other plans.
When Jess takes the pilot's seat, the ancient vessel awakens - a powerful, self-aware craft lost to legend. Seizing the moment, Jess escapes Imperial control and vanishes into the stars.
Now he's on the run in a ship that shouldn't exist, hunted by a ruthless empire that will stop at nothing to reclaim it. Jess should disappear into deep space and never look back. But when calls for help echo through the void, he finds he can't ignore them.
With freedom in his grasp and a starship of unimaginable power at his command, Jess can make a difference. If he lives long enough.
Wanderer's Escape launches a gripping sci-fi saga filled with high-stakes adventure, ancient technology, and the enduring fight for freedom.
"In the end, I was gripping the arms of my chair as I rooted for the heroes."
"A fast-paced, can't-put-it-down sci-fi."
"One of the best books I've read this year."

Wanderer’s Escape
Hard to put down once I started reading the novel, a great rollercoaster ride of a story and likeable characters. Definitely looking forward to the rest of the series if it maintains this high level of enjoyment. Highly recommended.
Good ideas, exciting story
The start is excellent and a good story follows with interesting characters, though I think it is a weakness to create an impossible situation and then a kind of magic to get out of it (when Jess is abducted and imprisoned)
