Wastelands and other short stories is a compilation of most of the earlier Flash Fiction Works.

V.R. - Everything rode on Kimiko with Hendrix out of the game. The prize stood there taunting, temptingly unguarded in the center of the room. Would Kimiko be up to the task? Can she beat the enemy and reach the gauntlet first?

THE RAVEN - Lucille, and Darwin were out on a stroll for the night. This was supposed to be a pinnacle moment in Darwin’s life. Everything took an unsuspecting turn with the appearance of a Raven. Now Darwin has to face this unexpected enemy to recover his moment of Glory. Will he be up to the task? can he outwit his unexpected foe?

WASTELANDS - For as long as I had traveled on my own, I felt no sense of longing for companionship. Then I met Maximillian. How did this mangy mutt turn my life around? How did he become so important to me? I can’t say I’ve forgotten... but I can say it’s one hell of a memory.
