Water On the Moon

Water on the Moon tells the tale of four teen-age survivors of a worldwide cataclysm that resembles what would happen if the Sun went nova. As one and eventually all four discover, however, there is much more to it all than first meets the eye. Leaving behind friends, family, and the comfort of modern life, the survivors must make sense of the world in the wake of a bewildering apocalypse, the rise to power of those ready to create the next civilization, and enemies who always seem to be just over the same horizon as the cruel and relentless new day star. From sex, drugs and rock and roll to Shakespearean drag, feminism, religion, gravity, astrology, thermodynamics, DNA, the future of cigarette smoking, and a seemingly invincible defense system that still has a few bugs in it, Water on the Moon holds a mirror up to our familiar here and now and turns it inside out.
