Way Stations

Way Stations is a book of poems and vignettes about love - the search for it and the loss of it. Some are sensuous, others are erotic and still others are even humerous, but all are written with such incredible imagery that readers can see in their mind's eyes and feel in their souls the experiences of the author. He dedicated Way Stations to the women in his life who inspired his poetry and his vignettes; some of the women loved him, some of them he loved, and sometimes they both got lucky and loved each other. Payne hopes readers will find within the book a page or two reminiscent of their own lives.
