Publisher Description
It’s a tale as old as time: the bad boy meets the good girl. He makes a daring proposition. Then the boy gets a mysterious head injury and loses a year of his life…
The first time I meet Rickie, I don’t know what to make of him. The second time we meet, he doesn’t remember the six hours we spent together. Or standing me up afterward.
I’m not the same, either. I’ve got secrets. I’ve told lies. Bad boys aren’t my type, anyway. Even the ones with seductive gray eyes.
But now we’re roommates. Cue the awkward moments in the hallway when he’s wearing only a towel and a smile. He’s determined to win me over, and his talented hands weaken my resolve.
It’s all fun and games until my past rears its ugly head and his secrets come to light, shaking our fragile connection, maybe even breaking it…
Note: this is Daphne Shipley's story. Contents include Vermonty ice cream flavors, nerdy awkwardness, tattoos, and a playboy grandpa.

True North at its best
Flipping heck, I love the Shipley clan, and Daphne Shipley is adorable, just like her brother Dylan. Now, Dylan’s best buddy Rickie is both adorable and cheeky, he pulls off the confident, flirty vibe when really he is anything but. I was on tenterhooks waiting to find out what exactly happened to him, and of course Daphne, because they both had past personal drama ingrained in their psyche, yet only one of them remembers it. I had so many theories, not wanting to rush through the story, but at the same time needing answers to questions. I was backing their relationship 100%, totally invested in their ‘whatever it was they were doing’. I loved that Dylan was so cocky and playful, and I hated that he had so many skeletons in his closet, I just wanted to wrap him in my arms and tell him everything would be ok. I loved mum and grandpa Shipley, they didn’t hold anything back, the Shipley clan really are the best. A fab audio, this story really lent itself to audio and Callie Dalton and Zachary Webber narrated beautifully, as always. It definitely kept me on my toes, so, so enjoyable.
