We’re All Here for the Drowning

This book discusses Paul Kelly, Australian Singer/Songwriter, and his music - lots of what his friends and family told us that didn't make it into the film! 

The song “Stories of Me” is about a man with a “reputation” hearing lots of different people tell stories in which he is the subject, even though sometimes he doesn’t recognise himself. This book is pretty much like that. 

Some 50 plus people were interviewed for the film Paul Kelly - Stories of Me. It’s the nature of a documentary that the comments are distilled to their essence and much great material – anecdotes, jokes and insights are left on the cutting room floor.
