Ruined by the ending
A good read, but in my opinion the book stops abruptly as if the author ran out of ideas. Too many loose ends and questions unanswered to be considered a complete novel.
Honestly, the best book I've ever read
I picked up this book expecting everything great, as my friend had been yammering on about it for weeks, and let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint. It was the perfect breath of fresh air in the Crime-Fiction genre, as it walks away from the whodunnit narrative and goes for a more psychological approach, with a massive payoff twist at the end, which is the perfect train of thought: no way ➡️ wait a minute ➡️ oh my god!
Definitely a great read for anyone looking for an escape from the normal mainstream storyline.
