Publisher Description
They say before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig two graves.
For James Mercer, the financial ruin of his family by the institutions they trusted can never be undone. It shattered everyone, leaving him with a burning need to right the wrongs they suffered. He will stop at nothing to recoup what they are owed. It's not theft, it's payback.
Until his solo crusade falls foul of the very people he seeks to rob - the one per centers, the people who own the bulk of the world's wealth. Soon he is putting together a crew to carry out one last robbery, to undertake one last job. Success will restore his family's fortunes, but failure will destroy them forever.
Packed with relentless action and the sort of riveting authenticity only Andy McNab can provide, Whatever it Takestells the story of one man's extraordinary pursuit of justice against devastating odds, a story as hard and real and controversial as any of today's headlines, which will show the world as it really is...
The latest Nick Stone thriller, DOWN TO THE WIRE, is available in hardback now.

Really makes you think!
What starts out as a crime thriller ends with an idea that SHOULD happen one day. A philosophical idea that would create a world worthy of reverence and mind blowing ideals of our world society and how it really should be. Unfortunately I doubt it ever will be. Good read.
Fun book ruined by the ending
Pretty sure nobody believes the president of the USA is the most important and bestest person in the world anymore?
Mr McNabb has done his usual good job of linear storytelling with a bit of action and luxury, but personally, to find out that everyone in the story is performing these massive bouts of self sacrifice all so that the president would be safe if hypothetical global war broke out was a massive disappointment.
I would ask for my money back if I thought apple would give me it.
One star.
Absolute rubbish.
I own every one of Mr. McNab’s books. I purchased them all on the day of release. I have three children and by some strange fate, during each birth, i have been reading B2O. There date and time of birth is written within the cover of this copy.
In short, i am a big fan.
You can trust when you purchase a thrilling escape with each page turned.
But this book?
Absolute load of dross.
When i read about a thrilling story i want a lead character that I could never be myself.
If this is a change in direction or writing style i shall not be purchasing any further publications.
