When He’s Dirty is the first part of a new Walker Brothers’ series spin-offs, the (Adrian's Trilogy). Adrian has been a secondary character up until now, and we’ve all wondered about his past. Well, now we get to meet the man behind the shades.
Adrian is a tough as nails, straight-talking alpha male, he needs to be in his line of work. First with the FBI, then after a long undercover operation, with Walker Security.
As always, this story is filled to the brim with twists you don’t see coming, mystery, and suspense plus a compelling couple to bring it all together.
Pri is an assistant D.A, running the case against the Texas Kings biker club, the club where Adrian was undercover. She doesn’t know that when they first meet, but their attraction is instantaneous, and she wants more. Adrian knows who she is, and all he wants is to protect her. Save her from himself and all the danger he brings to the table.
He’ll fight his own demons while loving her and battle anyone who gets too close.
I love Lisa’s writing, it never fails to bring all the feels to the forefront, and mixed with the suspense and intrigue, it makes for a pretty intense story.
Can’t wait until December for part 2.
Not finished
I really enjoyed the book but the ending doesn’t work. It just takes you to the next book. The whole of the story leads up to this point and then it finishes. Doesn’t even count as a cliff hanger. Disappointed and cheated.
