Allie Fivestars is an indentured servant at the Starshine Saloon, a seedy spacer's bar on a crumbling station deep in the galactic badlands, where the only law is a brutal pirate gang called the Syndicate. They control her with a cruel chip implant that dulls her emotions and suppresses all memories of the woman she once was. Allie has no past, no future beyond Syndicate servitude, no way to escape.
