Whisper and the Meadowlark is the first book in the Maggie's Lark trilogy, the story of a contmeporary Eastern Shore family. It is a book of the sea; there are beautiful and interesting boats, sailing in some of the world's best cruising grounds, and sailors of all sorts. Even more, though, Whisper and the Meadowlark is a book about people and how they deal with adversity.
