With Potential

Miles writes queer romance novels-- sweet, heartfelt love stories that keep him in cocoa and comfy sweaters, and it's (almost) all he wants. Then his publisher tells him people want more spice and encourages Miles to open the door on some of his closed-door sex scenes.

There's only one problem: Miles loves romance, but his actual physical experience is a little... lacking. What experience he had was lackluster. But that's solvable, right? A friend makes him a dating profile so he can get some no-strings experience. It's not like his heart will get involved.

Alex is bored and restless. His architect day job has him erecting buildings all over London; his night job in adult films has... well, he's getting tired of that, too. Finding someone to be with for the day-to-day would be great. So when he sees a profile of an absolutely beautiful man on his dating app, he's instantly smitten. But even though he's really looking for something more and Miles is not, Alex is sure he can still make this work.
