Writing

with Question Prompts

Publisher Description

This is the first book in a series to support the development of independent writers in the Middle to Upper Primary Years.

As well as the 44 thought provoking and highly engaging photos there is a question prompt to go with each, the prompt has also been recorded so that learners can push play and listen to the question. There is two extensive chapters of word support, the first is the Essential Spelling lists, including the commonly misspelt words and the second is a chapter with ‘words instead of said’ (which are initially organised into emotions). Every word in the lists can be pressed to show the Oxford Dictionary meaning to ensure learners are scaffolded to become discerning when choosing words.
