At an age when most people are thinking of putting their feet up, veteran adventurer and yachting instructor Roger Stephens sold his house, bought an ocean-going yacht, and embarked on a voyage round the world. On the way he discovered cliff-hugging settlements tucked away in remote icy channels along the jagged Chilean coast, rockhopper penguins in the Falklands, over-friendly humpback whales between Salvador and Rio, ancient turtles in the Galapagos Islands; and made a great many new friends along the way.
