The Story of David & Annette Small

    • 5.0 • 1 Rating

Publisher Description

This book tells the story of David and Annette Small and their ancestors, making connections between the past and the present. It traces both sides of the family, delving into the lives of the Borries and Whytes, pioneering Scottish families who settled in New Zealand in the nineteenth century; the Hendersons of Ireland, who left for Canada under a cloud; and the Smalls of Dundee, who in 1832 established a firm of solicitors, Shiell & Small. The batons of adventure and duty were eventually passed on to David and Annette Small, who both travelled great distances before meeting at a boarding house in London. It wasn’t long before they realised that they shared many things but one in particular—a yearning for home.

A tribute to David and Annette

It captures the story behind their lift together. Think 'Who do you think you are' meets 'This is your life'.
