APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Investment banker Maddison Johnson is firmly against her transfer from London to Seoul, particularly as it means working with a boss she dislikes. Maddison initially seems to be as spiky as her expensive heels, but we quickly grew to love her as she made a journey of self-discovery in the evocatively described surroundings of Seoul. We weren’t the only ones either—the animosity between Maddison and her boss sparks into something much warmer via entertainingly playful dialogue.
Maddison is indeed a reluctant traveller. Her story is very funny. Must read !
I really enjoyed reading this book it was really interesting and not the normal romantic book. I definitely would recommend this. Although I think Maddison’s thought were sometimes explained in a little too much detail and it took quite a bit of time to get back to what’s happening .
