Thao smartly keeps the logistics vague, effectively depicting Julie's grieving process and her attempts to balance staying connected to Sam while being present for friends for whom his death is final—including Sam's cousin Mika and best friend Oliver. While some secondary story lines—one exploring Julie's mother's paranoia and another involving Sam's younger brother—are underdeveloped, the unique premise and authentic depiction of grief holds plenty of appeal. Lovely story
It was a nice read. Showing how others cope with grief, when you are struggling. It would of been nice to have some answers regarding the plot situation as I feel so much left unsaid. Maybe a pov from Sam would of been nice. But overall nice read.
Heartwarming and amazing Book
I know this is a little late on finishing it but I love how the story ends it it heartwarming to the point cried a little bit . I loved it how it is written how it sense images in my pictures in my mind. I would definitely recommend it any one has a taste in time of book or relate to this.
