Buddhist Ethics

Buddhist ethics are based on natural laws, not social customs or man-made laws. Buddhist morality judges actions based on their intention or motivation, and considers actions rooted in greed, hatred, or selfishness to be bad. Actions rooted in love, generosity, and wisdom are considered good.
