10 in 24 (Part 1 - What Lenny Wants and Likes‪)‬

Lenny is an eighteen-year-old guy. He lives with his widowed mother close to the beach in a small community near Tampa, Florida, on the Gulf of Mexico, and has just graduated with his senior year class at the local high school. Now, at least three years of college await him.

Six months earlier, just after Christmas, his next-door neighbor and best friend named Ronny, also eighteen years old, moved from Florida to Venice Beach in Los Angeles with his parents. The two boys had grown up together after meeting on their first day in kindergarten. They became buddies straightaway to enjoy a friendship typical of pre-adolescents; a lot of fun, rough-housing and mischief, but nothing intimate or mutually experimental, even when going through puberty. As young teens, they restricted themselves to just a lot of nonsense talking about sex and girls at school, and smirking whenever one of them had an uncontrollable erection in his trousers or swimming trunks, which was a very regular occurrence.

Having been quite shy all his life, losing a friend like Ronny to distance was not easy at first, because Ronny had been so much like a twin brother, which was the basis of his love for him. And having a girlfriend had never been on Lenny’s personal radar, no matter how much he may have wanted. So within days of their separation he was missing his friend, and quickly talked his mother into arranging a two-week sleepover for Ronny in August, before they started college in the fall.

But at the same time, a few weeks after Ronnie’s departure, all his hormones caused a final big growth spurt, and turned shy Lenny into a confident young man who was forming a new social life without Ronny. These hormones also made him a very horny virgin as he realized his true bisexuality and began experiencing new and different feelings about having sex with both girls and guys. Those new feelings now involved Ronny whenever he often thought of him and his forthcoming return visit to Florida. And they also included Ginny, the new twelfth-grade girl in school who had close feelings for him. He wondered to himself whether their fortnight together would help prepare him for an all-round college life. Only time would tell.

So this is Lenny’s coming-of-age story, a tale of self-discovery, lust and young love, during his best summer holiday by the sea ever with Ronny and Ginny, as he tells it in his own words.
