Applecheeks & The Pop E. Tree

Old Applecheeks was a wise bunny that lived in the mountains of Western North Carolina. She had chosen to live in a Maple tree that happened to be in the pasture of a Mr. Pop E. Jones. All the stray animals in the area found a home with Applecheecks as there was plenty of food, sunshine and love!
Pop E would bring apples to the pasture every day and then sit and watch grinning from ear to ear as he watched all the animals scurry out and eat the scrumptious treats. There was also plenty of excitement in those old mountains as well!! One fall Pop E. had to leave Old Applecheeks, but he made sure that all the animals in his pasture would always be taken care of and he would never be forgotten.
