B-Day Dime is a birthday poem. It encourages two people who only have ten cents (and want something greater than they can afford) to remember it is their birthday, so, go out and have a good time. They don't need a dime to do that, no, no they don't!
There are six stanzas having four lines each. The last word of each pair of lines rhymes (following AABB). This poem was written to be read at a quicker pace.
The structure of this poem provides only one chapter break. Each stanza has had its lines split-apart in order to preserve the intent (the pacing) of each line, and thus each line may be given its own page; there may be instances, however, where managing the evolution of the poem in your mind, some lines have been split into multiple pages, or, multiple lines of a stanza remain on the same page (making it so a page is not necessarily equal to the count of lines of a stanza).
