Publisher Description

Albert DeSalvo, the infamous "Boston Strangler" is considered to be "America's first 'serial killer' of the modern era". He is responsible for as many as 13 women's murders in the Boston area between 14 June 1962 and 4 January 1964. Victims were as young as 19 and as old as 85. Whereas police did not believe that all of the murders were committed by the same person, the public was convinced that one person, dubbed "The Boston Strangler", was the sole suspect.
