Publisher Description

I am a survivor with an extensive history with domestic abuse, who speaks candidly and writes transparently about my journey. I say what victims and most survivors aren’t willing or able to say.  Victims are afraid to speak out. They don’t have the wherewithal to make their private disgrace, public. Survivors choose to silently block the horror of their experience and many remain imprisoned to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

I expose “the elephant in the room”, telling my story, as a means to heal and reveal “the heart of the victim”. I offer “silently suffering” victims encouragement, inspiration, hope, and a means to get out.

I educate the reader on the ills of Domestic Violence – emotionally, psychologically, and spiritually to stimulate compassion for the victim, and instigate a responsibility to the witness to help.  The perpetrator will see himself, the damage he causes, and how he is viewed by society. In the end, he does not win, unless he seeks help and changes.

We all must recognize the urgency and determination for the victim to be free. I am reminding the world, “ If you see something, say something!”
