Cooking for Competition: What the Judges are Looking for Supplement 2008 was written by Joan Graham in collaboration with Doreen Moore, both of whom have had wide experience as competitors, stewards and judges.


Through the years of involvement in agricultural shows and other exhibitions, the writers found ever increasing evidence of the lack of information on presentation of show cookery. The interest shown in the idea for this book has been overwhelming.


Supplement 2008 covers classes not currently in Cooking for Competition: What the Judges are Looking for. These classes are taken from the Royal Show schedules in all states.


About the Author:

Joan Graham and Doreen Moore have been associated with the Australian Rice Industry for many years through growing rice in the Murray Valley. Joan’s late husband Greg was president of the Ricegrowers Association of Australia at the time of his death in 1983.
