The man with the blood red eye is watching Samantha Rhodes. 

Oblivious to his designs, reality TV starlet Samantha passes through a grandiose world she never dreamed could be so vast and wondrous. The faux goddess Krista Daniels has whisked Samantha and her love interest Ryder from the ruined regions, and brought them into a technologically advanced, unruined world to be paraded and marketed in front of millions of sadistic fans of their show. Within the societal embrace of endless static lenses staring their way with adoration, the shadow caring of a sick joke of a party thrown to celebrate Samantha's presence, and the way Krista smiles their way with such plastic warmth and affection. 

Samantha falls under the false pretense that she and those she loves are safe. 

Ryder's sisters remain trapped within the confines of the ruined regions with an injured genie. 

And the man with the blood red eye soon comes to hijack Samantha's static iris, and reveal the bleeding truth in their society's twisted lies.
