Forest Fire

A sheltered girl and her horse form an unlikely team with a poor boy and his grandmother as they try to survive the 1894 forest fires that spread to their town of Hinckley, Minnesota, in this gripping entry in the historical fiction middle grade Survivors series.

Carrie Vaughn and Daniel Johansson are both hoping desperately that the forest fires raging outside Hinckley won’t reach town.
