This is the fourth part of a travelogue detailing a 2,390 km trip around Greece visiting many of the ancient archaeological sites. This particular volume describes ancient Sparta, the Byzantine city of Mystras, Kalamata, ancient Messene and Nestor’s palace. Detailed maps with identification of the important structures have been created for ancient Sparta and ancient Messene.
