Bridget Jones meets Sex and the City in this laugh-out-loud 90's throwback series. 

I have to choose between my job and my man, while my friend Lulu is engaged in class warfare. 

I'm living in the fast lane, settled and happy in my new fancy life in NYC. I've managed to prove everyone—even myself—wrong about my tendency toward flakiness. Of course, I just might be willing to give it all up for CJ (of the washboard abs and all-American good looks). Since we work together, it's him or my job … and without my job, rent might be a bit of an issue. And my track record with men?

In the meantime, my friend Lulu is embroiled in the next of her long string of very serious flings. But this time it seems different. Andrew is a grownup. And a doctor. 

The only sticking point? (well, besides Lulu's tendency to run away from anything serious…) Andrew's practically Upper East Side royalty. And Lulu? Well, she's … loud. A little inappropriate. Has no filter whatsoever. 

And Andrew's mother (who goes by "Tippy" if you can believe it!) is not impressed. 

Will Lulu be able to get past Andrew's maternal defenses?
