If I Was Big and Strong

A little boy watches a bigger boy pushing other kids around.  He decides that if he writes this boy a letter explaining to him that meanness could make him lonely, and to offer a hand of friendship, perhaps they could both be better off for it…

This little poem comes with beautiful illustrations and optional narration. It can serve as a discussion platform around the misuse and re-direction of power. Whether in the classroom or between parent and child, the aim is to encourage discussion around a difficult subject. Our expectation is that the real words of wisdom will come from the children themselves.
