In Blood and Bone

AJ Lancaster was just a guy working a dead end job, trying to figure out where his life was going, until the night a random act of violence thrust Clover into his life. A bond quickly forms between them in the aftermath. It seems like things are finally looking up for AJ, until a series of disturbing events makes him question reality and everything he thought he knew about his family.

The dead are rising, and they're following the call of some supernatural force that's set its sight on killing AJ and those he loves. The police struggle to protect him against a threat they don't understand. He knows its up to him to try to understand what's happening and how to stop it.

Clover joins him on his quest, as well as Det. John Lubbock, a former disbeliever in all things supernatural, and a shape-shifter who reveals to AJ that the Lancaster family has some very dark secrets in its past. All they've tried to keep hidden has broken free and intends to make AJ's life a living hell.
