Enza takes you with her as she reminisces about her life, from her childhood in Sicily and through her emigration to Australia when she was 16, where she embraced a whole new lifestyle and language. Her love of life, her passion for cooking, her business instincts, her energy and enthusiasm, helped Enza overcome two bouts of cancer and gave her the courage to guide others on journeys of discovery on the other side of the world.

“I would never have thought twelve years ago that my curiosity would have led to such a wonderful friendship with this amazing woman.  I met Enza by chance in the supermarket when I asked her what she was going to do with the 10 kilos of ricotta that she was buying.  It turned out to be for ricotta and spinach cannelloni for a small army of dinner guests.   From that day on we have shared our love of food and family. My son Gianluca adopted Enza as his Noni, since her grandson Thomas used to come to stay at her home and the two boys would play together and we had the opportunity for the boys to speak Italian together and get involved in making pizzas and creating mosaics when Enza and I had our creative urge.” Claudia Hayes
