Iris and the Reckoning

Trouble always found Iris.

She lives every day with regrets and atones at every opportunity. It just so happens, her method of atonement requires ghost hunting and demon suppression. She's a novice throwing her weight around with the pros, and she knows it's only a matter of time before things get real.

Iris wasn't expecting Harlan. But he might just be the man to save her from herself. Her journey of redemption takes her back to the North Country, a place in the mountains of Northern New York she spent most her life trying to escape from, with their traditional values and archaic ways of life. At least, that's how Iris sees it. Until she finds herself in a place where her kin reach in to help her out, and she begins to settle into her powers and discovers who she has become.

Harlan isn't looking for that special somebody, but it doesn't take long after he met Iris to figure out he wants to keep her. What started as a mission assigned by the White Lodge-a group dedicated to fighting dark magic-turned into something more. The hard part will be convincing Iris they belong together...and keeping her alive.

Because darkness has come to the North, and time is running out.
