Cosplayer and comic book nerd, Pete, accidentally meets the actor who plays his favourite character in his favourite movie and comic book franchise, Seth, who is undercover at the comic con in full cosplay as another character, craving to live as a normal person for a day. Already caught in a lie Seth pretends to be a normal young adult so he can be around Pete again. But when Seth gets caught in his lie Pete feels betrayed and Seth must decide between love and his contractual duties in Hollywood, including an arranged fake relationship with female celebrity, Hayley.
