Along the way, he finds himself leading a pair of knights from the Holy Order of the Gauntlet on a mission to slay the Dartague wyrd woman believed to be at the heart of the barbarian's attacks. Unfortunately for Guthrie, he has a secret which could get him killed by his fellow soldiers and knights if they were to learn the truth.
