Shen and Huntington discovered perfection
If there could ever be a perfect book by all standards, this book would be it. It’s not easy to explain, but I’ll try:
- This book was so well written. The story unfolded gradually, it built and built perfectly. It went slow enough to build and explain each step, but not so slow that it was not dragging; and it was fast enough so that the reader would get to the next step, but it was not so fast that you didn’t get how we got here. It was simply perfect.
- the characters and their particularities were such that they were believable, relatable, and natural. They were perfect.
- they plot twists were so perfectly arranged that they left you breathless.
- the romance and the angst were so perfect that your soul felt each single thing.
- the authors’ sense of humor! Oh my gosh, their sense of humor! Perfection.
I’ve said that I will gladly read whatever these two decide to write, anything.
