Na-walkwalk-kan

Na-walkwalk-kan is a book describing a smoking ceremony, an ancient custom. It has been practised by the Jawoyn people for thousands of years. It involves smouldering various native plants to produce smoke, which has healing and cleansing properties and the ability to ward off bad spirits.


The book is told using the two local languages; Jawoyn and Kriol of the Katherine region.
