What an amazing description!
I am really mind-blown by how this book is written. I was always a big fan of Oliver Twist, therefore I really enjoyed reading it. The whole text just makes my imagination travel across a fantastic world of emotions. I also really wanna highlight this: the way this thing is written… beautiful! And this can also remind people of a poem because of how formal this is. Just beautiful!
Oliver Twist
3.5/5
Always a fan of how Dickens portrays 20th century England , he is a master at it. The class division, the poverty, the corruption of the system , child labour, are all a major theme in his work generally and especially in Oliver Twist. The character development and description was also something I think he did a great job at. The reason I rated it with 3.5 out of 5 is because of the plot. I personally believe it could have been a much shorter version of the book and I get that he wanted us to navigate the whole journey of Oliver’s but personally, I got a little bored in the middle. That’s why it took me literally more than 5 months to finish it. Overall , I think it’s a great book and it’s probably for younger audiences.
