Out of the Dark

It is Rafe Austin's worst birthday. He is told his mother was killed in the nuclear holocaust eight years ago, not merely separated from them. Then he is pleased to discover an abandoned wolf cub in the forest. That night, she turns into a little girl! Rafe and his father find that the girl, and three others, are the misguided result of a crazed scientist who is experimenting with Dark Matter.
