Yiddish in Nature is an anthology of newly translated memoir, stories, and poems exploring nature in every season and from many perspectives. This collection includes poems that use nature as a metaphor for love and identity; stories in which nature provides a setting for trauma, loss, and pain; folkloric tales; and more. In these texts, nature offers a powerful lens through which a range of Yiddish writers reflect on Jewishness and on humanity.
