Playing the Odds

A consummate gambler named Billy Kay has always been the life of the party. She has her ups and downs but mostly things even out. She has never had to work a day in her life. The thrill of the game is what she lives for. A few bets have her riding that high until she risks it all on one hand thinking nobody can beat her. The worst thing happens and now she owes more than any temporary marker can handle. A mysterious woman offers her a lifeline but it comes at a steep cost. She gets in over her head and they want her to steal from a high roller named Julian Combs. It doesn't go as planned with the two of them getting trapped in his walk-in safe room. There are those in the house after the same thing and they don't want to be nice about it. They will have to work together to thwart their plan despite his misgivings about her. What happens when life throws them a curveball they are not expecting? Can they survive the night and admit their feelings to one another after the dust settles?
