Pop. An Anzac Story‪.‬

Publisher Description

This book is dedicated to our Pop, Charles Edwards, 2/19th Battalion, whose story as a soldier in World War 2 and a POW has inspired many generations. More importantly, he taught us what it means to value and respect one another, regardless of age or race.

This story was written by Ryan (Year 5) and his brother Occy (Year 3) around a homework task on ‘What does ANZAC Day mean to you?” We tried to describe what ANZAC Day looks, feels and sounds like for the new generation attending the march. And capture what our first ANZAC Day without Pop would be like.

We share this reflection, through the boys eyes, so he lives on in all of those who share this story.
