President Barack H. Obama

The book presents President Obama as an example of the otherwise small Mustard Seed which when planted gives enormous results uncharacteristic of its size. The Parable of the Seed is given in the synoptic gospels of Saints Matthew, Mark & Luke in which Jesus Christ compares the Seed with the Kingdom of God. President Obama had a very humble background; the father, Barack Obama senior, too, started very small and was able to study in Hawaii (where he met and married the President’s mother) & Harvard. The scholarship for his education was negotiated by Tom Mboya, a Kenyan Luo of a very humble background too, rose but to prominence as a nationalist leader. And it is also a coincidence that his wife, Michelle, the First African American First Lady was from a humble parentage. The Obama Presidency has achieved huge successes & will achieve even more in his second term. The successes embrace many areas and include: US and World-wide security, Education, Healthcare, manufacturing, jobs for the unemployed and trade.
