Rampaging Rabbits
Publisher Description
In the small, quiet, peaceful, friendly Western Australia town of Pingrup there lived four farmers who all had one thing in common – RABBITS! Each farmer tries a different technique on trying to get rid of the rabbits. Some succeed, one fails.
The Hotspot Heroes Enviro-Stories Program involved schools from the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia learning about the biodiversity, threatened species and feral animals in the wheatbelt area. A Hotspot Hero is someone who is willing to stand up and take action to help prevent our threatened plants and animals from fading into oblivion.
Year 3-6 students from Pingrup Primary School wrote and illustrated this book. Their names are: Aleisha Smith, Benjamin Hawley, Brock Zuppicich, Georgia Furphy, Gianna Jury, Jai Holmes, Jordan Borgward, Kadence Zuppicich, Kopie Featherstone, Lily Furphy, Meg Furphy, Miss Bennett, Mitchell Hawley and Myles Borgward.
