My name is Avalon O'Cuinn and I'm a fairy who doesn't exactly fit the fae mold.

I'm short. My wings are too small. I kill plants instead of making them bloom, and I'd rather sling drinks at The Cauldron than spend five minutes at the royal fae court.

My dating life isn't much better.

After one too many disastrous dates, I finally give in and sign up with Fated Mates—a magickal dating agency. What do I have to lose besides my dignity? My first match comes in at a whopping 99.753%. Practically perfect. There's just one teeny-tiny problem: he's fae.

Kegan Byrne is tall, gorgeous, smells like a spring meadow, and has a voice that makes my wings trill. Worse, he's sweet, funny, and about as interested in fitting into fae society as I am. He's also a landscaper. Did I mention I can kill a plant just by looking at it?

I should swipe left and hold out for someone who doesn't remind me of everything I ran away from. Instead, I agree to one date.

And suddenly I'm wondering if that ridiculous app actually got something right. Because the more time I spend with Kegan, the harder it is to remember why being matched with another fae was such a terrible idea.

Maybe 99.753% isn't practically perfect.
