Terrance Jones Vietnam Experience

Writing a book about my travels and experiences seem simple, however taking my thoughts, feelings, experiences and putting them into words for me isn’t easy. Encouraged by friends to tell my story, has given me the drive and new found passion to write this book. 

Vietnam is a small country in this big world, if not for a war many years ago, Vietnam today may be just another Asian country on the map. 

Unfortunately the United States involvement with Vietnam in the sixties, have still left most people in the US with a vision of a war torn country because of the vast news stories and photos that aired on TV and radio every night throughout the sixties. 

It’s nothing like that ... At all. 

Like Japan, Vietnam had to put itself back together and ‘Move-On’. 

My writing this book is to introduce you to an incredibly beautiful country with wonderful and extremely friendly people. They have moved on with their lives and with no malice towards others. 

If you dare to get out of your comfort zone, your familiar surroundings, your conventional habits, then come with me and catch a wave to Vietnam. 

You might say that this spirit of adventure has come at the right time. You know the old saying, “When all the stars are lined up exciting things happen”.
